ICF's Web site is www.icfi.com.   Job Description: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Specialist   We seek experienced Early Childhood Education (ECE) Specialists to support Head Start and Early Head Start programs to ensure high quality Head Start services in accordance with the Head Start performance standards and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. The Early Childhood Education Specialist will offer training and support to Head Start programs and local early childhood professionals, teachers, home visitors and education managers and share information about relevant resources available in the state. The Specialist will work with the programs to correct deficiencies relating to program design and management, governance, fiscal systems, educational parental and family engagement, health and nutrition, mental health, oral health. The Early Childhood/Specialist will engage programs in dialogue and learning of best practices for children from birth to three and from three to five and encourage a culture of learning that promotes school readiness. This position is home-based and will involve travel to programs within the state of North Carolina.
